I’m not an expert on betting so can anyone tell me how I can place a bet that there will be a red card tomorrow? I think with the build up and atmosphere it’s quite likely
Everyone is looking at this game and our opponents but the fact remains we are exactly where we were last season, same points, same problems. Not looking good with injuries picking up as well. The Disney circus comes to town and I would be surprised if we win this. Our defence looks vulnerable to long ball, 2-0 Wrexham.
Nathan Jones has confirmed that Gassan Ahadme (chest) has returned to training, though Kayne Ramsay (knee), Lloyd Jones (leg) and Daniel Kanu (ankle) remain sidelined.
Ahadme ( chest ). Did the ball hit him ? It hasn’t hit his head yet.
Charlton Athletic have won just one of their last seven league games against Wrexham (D3 L3), though that sole victory came during the last meeting between these two sides in February 1982 (1-0).
Wrexham are unbeaten across their last five Football League games against sides from London (W3 D2), their longest such streak in the EFL since a run of eight matches between February 1994 and December 1995.
After losing four consecutive home league games between January and February 2024, Charlton have since lost just one of their last 13 outings at the Valley (W5 D7).
Wrexham have lost two of their last four away league games (W1 D1), as many defeats as across their prior 11 such matches combined (W6 D3).
Wrexham play a style where they pump high balls into the area. Unfortunately that is our defensive weakness and I think they will score atleast 2 goals tomorrow hopefully we can get 3

nice preview as ever FA .. Gillesphey has his merits as a defender, however in the absence of Jones I would have either REG or Edwards alongside Mitchell, otherwise your chosen few looks good .. we still lack proper firepower up front though, as Leaburn is still not 'match sharp' and Godden can't be relied on to score forever nor indeed can sharpshooter Luke Berry continue to get us out of trouble. We won't lose this one, however after too many draws we really need to win against the oxymoronic Wrexham Glamour Boys lol
Berry needs'to start & so does TC. No point bringing them on with 40 to go when we are losing. A midfield of Coventry, Taylor & Berry should be able to accommodate a pacy winger.
We have a full house tomorrow so surely the edict from the owners is to play some football for a change AND SCORE BEFORE HALF TIME. If not all those 50/50 scarves will be seen around Wrexham & not Woolwich in months to come.

Sounds like excuses to keep him dropped, he got struck in the chest playing football, not going ten rounds with Mike Tyson
Keeper -Unreliable Defence - Trending in the wrong direction. Midfield - Not a single player has nailed down their position and we're fannying around with formations to disguise that fact. Attack - Haven't produced though admittedly they're feeding on scraps.
Maybe we put on a show and win this weekend but nothing I've seen this season suggests this team have got a run of good results in them and without that we're not getting anywhere near the play off spots.
So you put them all on the naughty list? Lucky Christmas is still over a month away!!
By the way, I generally agree with that assesment, and worse, every time a substitute comes on and plays well, the overall demand is 'putting him in the starting line up', to very mixed reults.
Incidentally, looking at their 1st team squad, the 'Welsh Dragons' have just two Welshmen in the 1st team squad, neither are likely to be called upon tomorrow

Of course I want us to win, but whatever else I hope George Dobson is treated with total respect by our fans. He always gave everything in our shirt, and I would find it cringeworthy if Dobbo gets any abuse. I will give him a genuine warm greeting when his name is announced.

Surely he’ll get a warm reception.
I really hope so. The guy was an absolute warrior for us. Put his body on the line week in week out.
Any who don’t recognise that need their heads checking
The missus is coming with me, been together 7 years and she’s never seen us lose. She’s only come to 10 games over those years but still I’m taking that as a good omen!

Can't see why he will. If Alfie May can get boo-ed by some sections of the crowd I expect Dobbo will too.

It hasn’t hit his head yet.
We need 100% commitment from every player to win it.
Good luck tomorrow in front of a near capacity Valley crowd.

IF we do pull our fingers out and get a result I will be surprised.
Sorry Charlton, 1-3 Wrexham.

0-3. Lee, Mullin & a Dobson screamer.

Not too far off the Welsh national team then.
