Sounds as if #cafc manager Nathan Jones will not be on the touchline at Barnsley tonight.
Picked up three bookings and under the current rules it is a one-game ban, so will have to watch it from elsewhere - most likely I'd imagine that would be from the directors' section.
Personally I don’t think it will do a lot of harm, not being pitchside will make Nathan calm down, he’ll have to, and look at what’s going wrong / or what’s going right.

Might show how much the players rely on his instructions though. A particular worry for Watson if he plays as Jones was always telling him what to do last season if I remember right

God help the rest of them in the directors box, he will be like a bear with a sore head, and up and down shouting out orders...old habits...🙄

He could sit in the away end, there will be about 4,500 spare seats.

Why are managers banned after just 3 bookings, but for players it's 5?
I assume it's because managers are supposed to set an example or something.

Plus there are much fewer things a manager can get booked for so each yellow is more "significant" I guess.

Not with Watson necessarily but think this was shown yesterday. Lots of running around like headless chickens
Said pre season he'd end up with loads of bans. It's funny to watch... but if your base line is bat shit crazy and shouting at everyone, where do you go ? And how productive is it from a players perspective?.

Not sure if it's true but given it's Steve Evans i'm going to guess it is.
