I'm so sorry for your loss, truly a difficult read.
I hope you can find comfort, and that your daughter rests in peace. I hope you have family around to support you as well, I can't imagine what you're going through.
Just been having a shouting match with my two kids only to come downstairs, switch on the computer and read this. Puts things into perspective!
So very, very sorry for your loss. It's something no parent should ever have to deal with, let alone twice. Very best wishes to you, and hope you can somehow move on from this.
I'd just like to thank everyone for their messages - it means a lot.
Went to the game yesterday and cried at various points. Still in a complete daze but I celebrate having had two such wonderful daughters.
If you have kids give them a big hug from me and don't forget to tell them you love them.
I wondered if you’d gone to the game yesterday. At one point, when I was particularly frustrated by the ref, for some reason my thoughts turned to you and your recent loss and everything else just became so insignificant.
I read about this yesterday, but couldn't think of anything 'appropriate' to say. I still can't. I am rarely lost for words but his is so tragic, especially after you lost your other daughter not so long ago. Truly sincere condolences and hope you find the strength to deal with this
So sorry to read this Hoof_it, and struggling to find words to express the depth of my sympathy for you, your family, and first Georgie and now Aphra's friends for your tragic losses.
I hope you all have close friends who will be able and willing to give you the ongoing support I am sure you will need in the coming weeks and months.
Hell! Literally because I’d rather burn alive than go through that and I consider that the worst way to go. Not just one, but two children. Every parent’s hell. I don’t know how I’d cope but I hope to high heavens that you do. Love from me.
I can’t imagine what you are going thru losing 2 kids. Please god give you strength. I hope it comforts you to know you were a great father for those kids. RIP Aphra.
That's absolutely awful Benty; thankfully very few of us can put ourselves in your position. I hope it's helped you sharing it on here - just sometimes it can be a wonderful place among friends. All the very best going forward; taker her memories with you to SE7.
So sorry to hear of your loss, two sweet souls gone. I hope you can find the strength and fortitude you need. It is very hard to put into words what I truly feel. Take care.
So sorry to hear this news, and I apologise for my lateness. No parent should have to lose a child. I cannot imagine how it feels to lose two. I hope that the memories of their love and your family's happy times will help sustain you (at least a little bit). It is our loss not to have known Aphra and Georgie.
Really sorry to hear this awful news Benty. Thank you for sharing those special pictures of Aphra. Your Charlton family here are all thinking of you and yours.
