Charlton v Wrexham [26/10/24] Ticket news

Sales for the match have already reached 16,000 - with some areas close to selling out - and a crowd of over 20,000 are expected in SE7 for what promises to be a huge occasion.

With tickets set to go on priority sale once the away end sells out, supporters who aren’t on the club’s database are advised to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to ensure they don't miss out.

Once the tickets go on priority sale, only fans on the club’s database at the time the away end sold out will be able to purchase tickets.

So if you are a Wrexham fan get your ticket in the home areas now. Lol
Why would they do that when tickets still available in Jimmy Seed stand?
  • £30 a ticket, I'd have thought more fans that haven't bothered for a while than neutrals.

Depends how many are left doesn't it.
  • I hope you all feel my pain !
Im travelling down as normal from North Wales for the match. unfortunately I will this time be sharing my journey with about 4,000 Wrexham fans. Im not sure I can bear the return journey should we lose !

  • Need to announce by then who this sort of ambassador person is that Charlie alluded to at Bromley Addicks. HRH King Charles would be good, certainly usurp a couple of tinpot American actors.
  • The Wrexham forum seems to think they’ll only bring 1500 to 2000.

You think they've bought 1,000 in the home ends already?? 🤷🏻‍♂️
  • they won't sell out the JS stand
  • they won't sell out the JS stand
They definitely won’t but it will attract the football tourists who are more fans of the TV show hence the tickets sold already in the home ends . I don’t get it myself .
  • Wrexham?

    Ha ha ha ha hah!
  • I’ve never ever watched it.
Have absolutely no interest in watching a documentary about another team don’t care which celebrity is endorsing it.
But, believe it or not, there are Wrexham fans popping up around me here in West Cork and it is all because they watched it.
It makes a change from Man Yoo, Arse, Bin dippers etc
Whether any of them ever go to see them play I have no idea. But I do find it amusing.

I will be very surprised if it’s that low mate. I know we think we are shit however other clubs see us as a good trip away and Wrexham fans don’t get to London very often 😂

I have to be honest and say I have watched it. An it’s actually a really well produced programme. About 60% of the time is not directly about the club. It looks at the support from kids to Pensioners. It also looked at a small hooligan element, at disabled fans, new fans and those who have been there through thick and thin. It looks at the club in the community and its history. They show us the eternal optimists happy clappy fans, and of course their equivalent of Golfy and his were all doomed view.

So agree doesn’t make them Real Madrid, but is a good watch. An the Hollywood guys do bring some good humour to the programme.  Their lack of football knowledge, often giving laughs at their expense.

Good to see plenty of tickets sold, but why is this a bigger draw than Birmingham (or Bolton, for that matter)? It's not exactly a squad of superstars that they're bringing with them. Presumably all just because there's a documentary about them. Bit weird.

Nah just lapsed Charlton fans queuing up for another glimpse of O'Connell on the valley turf

You can jest but I imagine that all of our ex players on the field will have a point to prove ! I prey the good team turns up for us ( in our Jeckel & Hyde trait 😂) if not you can be sure they will be up for it. I would love to get Dobson first crunching tackle measures on the Richter scale 😂

Yes but if it’s more , how many supported them four years ago ?
  • And I really fucking hate the red carpet on the ticket advert on the OS

Ah ha ofcourse you are right mate the answer is not many of them !! Believe me there have been many occasions when I wished I could change my chosen team 😂
  • 'You're only here for the Wrexham, here for the Wrexhammm'

    Huge occasion for the club.

  • Wonder when we’re going to sell out.
