Can't wait for the crowd trouble in the Millwall game being shown live on tv. Reminisces of their match against Luton in the mid 80's which led to all the fences having to be put up.
Pretty good choices. I want to see how Salford and Accrington cope, irrespective of where they are played. I’ll watch these. Bristol City v Wolves or Norwich v Brighton are frankly on a par with PNE v Charlton.
Points aren’t at stake, nothing to lose, as long as we’re mindful of injuries I would like us to go all out, don’t worry too much about defending and don’t get caught offside.
But NJ assured us he wants to win every game,,,
I take the point though.
There should be no resting of players or giving game time for those not starting games unless they really are already knocking on the door for starting games.
Peterborough not happy, as their game at Everton has been shifted to Thursday evening.
So has Sheff Utd v Cardiff, kick off at 7PM. On BBC Wales and iPlayer, Everton v Posh also on iPlayer as is Bromley v Newcastle and Leeds v Harrogate - same time as Man City at 5.45 on Saturday.

Just waiting for Charlton to win a game first and give fans a glimmer of hope that committing to make the expensive journey north in January could be worthwhile
Preston have announced that home tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning [18/12/24], i would think that away tickets will go on sale sometime later this week.

Father v son in the Everton game is an interesting quirk.
From what i can see Tyler Young has barely featured all season for Peterborough and has only been on the bench a couple of times a few months back.
Now suddenly......."Ferguson has confirmed Tyler Young will be on the substitutes’ bench so the possibility of a historic father v son battle is alive".

Obviously mainly for the story but you do get an extended bench in the FA Cup too which helps
Just realised there are 3rd round games tonight. Not sure what that is about, since when did cup rounds begin on a Thursday?!
Sheff Utd v Cardiff Fulham v Watford Everton v Peterborough
Done away with replays, at the same time they said all FA cup will be played at the weekend, stretching it a bit with Monday night games, but Thursday night is taking the piss.

Very annoying as I was tempted to go to Goodison before it goes but Thursday makes it a non-starter.

Great historic ground but a very strange atmosphere. Can hear a pin drop sometimes.

No doubt. It’s a nice quirk regardless.
Steve Gritt v Portsmouth comes to mind a little 😉🙂
