Always had a soft spot for you boys. My mate was the Phisyo under the Steve Tilson days and went to many of your games when we wasn’t playing, love to see you back in the EFL but not in the 2nd round of the FA Cup.Rootshallbloke said:
Once upon a time I may have agreed with you on round progression, but these days it depends which Southend turns up. Somebody posted earlier that we may be preparing the North stand for Wrexham. I think I'd rather roll over to you lot than welcome back that twat Parkinson and the Stateside boyos.iaitch said:
Being against us you must have a good chance of getting to the second round.Rootshallbloke said:
I reckon it will be around the 7k mark, as it's a been a while since we've we've reached the 1st round proper. If you're feeling a bit anal, this routine from our fans board pulls ticket sales stats from the SUFC Public Servers. It shows sales so far, including away sales. It's not 100% accurate, but it's pretty close. There's a drop down menu for games listed.fenaddick said:
Sounds like you're expecting a big crowd?Rootshallbloke said:Southend Season Card holders From 1pm this afternoon, season ticket holders will be able to buy their seat only (no additional tickets) in a priority window which will end on Friday, 25 October at 5pm. Tickets will go on general sale at 6pm on the same day.

The fact absolutely nothing has been said about why tickets details haven’t been released yet is the most ridiculous thing. The club can put out a hundred Wrexham related messages but not a simple one explaining the delay.
really hope the club didn’t make a tactical decision to just park this for a few days so they can concentrate on flogging more Wrexham tickets12 -
Maybe the plan is to sell more tickets for the visit of Chelsea U21s on Tuesday evening to fans who are buying/collecting their Southend tickets at The Valley ....AFKABartram said:The fact absolutely nothing has been said about why tickets details haven’t been released yet is the most ridiculous thing. ...if they're actually on sale by then .0 -
I think the club probably haven’t had a confirmed allocation, not everything is a conspiracy/cock up1

My mate’s brother invented that.Southend addict said:Think this could be a sit on my hands job in the home end 🙈6 -
Then it takes 5 minutes to put out a simple statement that the club are aware no announcement has been made yet regarding away tickets for next weekend’s game vs Southend, despite the home club selling tickets since Wednesday. This is because…fenaddick said:I think the club probably haven’t had a confirmed allocation, not everything is a conspiracy/cock up8 -
Plus needed to know the date to make things all correct.Ducktapeshoerepairs said:I have heard that the delay in tickets is due to the fact that they have prioritised the design of the half/half scarves for this fixture, as soon as the scarf design is signed off, the tickets will be released …0 -
Don’t worry. Lincoln is going on sale on Monday.AFKABartram said:

Expect a bumper crowd for the shitty Cup game on Tuesday then. Everyone down the Valley to collect their tickets & then stay to watch the mighty Chelsea (U21's).
Hope the club are doing 50/50 scarves for that one 😄0 -
Southend have basically sold out and we have not heard a word !0
-
whether its Southend not sending the tickets yet or more likely Charlton getting Wrexham out of the way it is ridiculous that we are less than a week away from the game and nothing.

My grandson has his two year old birthday party on Saturday.
Will miss following a game for the first time in years, beyond a sneaky check or two on my mobile telephone.

According to their forum they're trying to get the part of the stand that's not in use back up to standard, which could increase away capacity from 800 to 1,800. Someone mentioned they have someone coming in to look at the work today. Seems like a reasonable reason as to why they haven't announced anything yet, Southend simply don't know how many tickets they can give us yet.
Although why we couldn't get the first 800, and at least sell those, then the additional, if there are any I'm not sure.0 -

Surely like you say you sell the first 800 and then deal with the extra if and when.1 -
Whatever the reason, I think the Club should release/have released a statement explaining the reason why tickets for the game have not yet been available to purchase.10

Definitely agree with that. Every post has questions, just put out a statement saying we're speaking to Southend but waiting for confirmation on ticket numbers, before we can sell them, and then most of people's questions will stop.southamptonaddick said:Whatever the reason, I think the Club should release/have released a statement explaining the reason why tickets for the game have not yet been available to purchase.1 -
Whatever work is needed I would have thought it would take more than 5 days to get it rectified & passed by the local authority !DyerConsequences said:According to their forum they're trying to get the part of the stand that's not in use back up to standard, which could increase away capacity from 800 to 1,800. Seems stupid to wait until you know the exact figure before putting them on sale. Could have easily sold the minimum 800 figure with a note saying there may be more available following safety checks.
Hard to blame the club for this, when it sounds like a hold up on Southend's side, but an update would have been good.0 -
Tickets for Saturday’s first round Emirates FA Cup tie against Southend United arrived at the club over the weekend and are now on priority sale.

It won’t happen but would solve a lot of problems if Southend just removed the seats in that half of the away end, it’s not like anyone will be sitting down
Can only assume it must be the terracing that’s dodgy
Other than putting seats in that stand hasn’t changed, certainly since I first went there in the mid 80’s0 -
Slightly off subject but I presume being a season ticket holder doesn't give me any loyalty points?0
