You're probably not wrong. You wouldn't find Killer chasing back & closing down defenders.
What a striker he was. Electric over 10 yards, strong as an ox and rarely out muscled by much bigger defenders. So quick on the turn and somehow always managed to get his foot in first when it mattered. Not to mention his positional sense. He had Paddy always seemed to be on the same wavelength. Today's football is so horribly sterile in comparison to those days.

That "Goal of the Season" goal. If that was today when Powell was confronted by the full back he would've checked back, played the ball back to our full back and the ball would end up back with our keeper. But we would've retained possession and the XG against would live to fight anther day, so good news for the stattos.
