Hans Jeppson. Nine goals in eleven appearances for Charlton. 148 in 220 over his club career. Two goals in the 1950 World Cup finals to help Sweden to third place. This just one year before his transfer to Charlton.

Not forgetting Antti Niemi, Thomas Myrhe, Viggo Jacobson. Also, as Stig points out, we shouldn’t underestimate the impact of Hans Jeppson. Third in the list of Charlton Scandos for me behind Simonsen and Jensen.

If you can find some film of Jeppson playing for Charlton, we'd love to see it but we were given a Jeppson signed shirt by Peter Varney.  Only a TOFFS retro one unfortunately.

Yup. Him and Scott Parker in his prime were the best central midfield partnership I have ever seen play for Charlton. The perfect partnership in fact.

Sadly, I am also pretty sure I will never see a better pair in the future either!
