Karoy was shown two yellows and then a red, not one yellow and a red. As frustrating as it may be when a player gets two yellows it does mean that, unless one of them is for something really stupid like mouthing off to the ref, the player likely made two really important ‘tackles’ and took one for the team and only incurred a one match ban, instead of one important ‘tackle’ and a 3 match ban.
