A prolific and very successful  'soft rock' composer and sometime performer, Souther has passed away in New Mexico aged 78

    Both Souther Hillman Fury albums were excellent, also his solo Black Rose album.

    Ah shit. 

    Great song writer. Co-wrote a few of the Eagles songs as well as some with Don Henley for his albums. Also member of the Eagles at one time.
