Iain Liddle - former Media Manager at Charlton

edited September 16 in General Charlton

Not a regular contributor on here and I’m not sure the rules on Just Giving pages but hopefully this post isn’t a problem.

My good friend and former colleague in Charlton’s media team, Iain Liddle, was sadly diagnosed with Parkinson’s at just 38 years-old.

It has been incredibly challenging time for him and his family, but one source of support has been Spotlight YOPD, a charity dedicated to helping people navigate the complexities of this condition.

Iain was a really talented, impressive Media Manager in what was a difficult time to work at Charlton and he is still a regular at The Valley.

In 12 days time I’ll be running the Berlin Marathon to raise awareness and funds for Spotlight YOPD and support him as he faces this new chapter of life.

Any donation will make a real difference and thanks so much for your support. 👊

  • Good luck Jimmy. Great cause 👍
  • Please give him my best wishes too Jean
  • Donated and shared on X.  I always remember Ian did a fan chat piece for one of the local papers prior to joining the CAFC payroll.  Good bloke, life is proper crap at times.
  • Sorry to hear this, best wishes and good luck to both of you
  • Thanks for the well wishes and donations. Very generous and hugely appreciated.
  • Please give him my best wishes too Jean
