I thought the Brummies looked extremely good and they totally outclassed Wrexham, making them look pretty bovine. Charlton would struggle to cope with this sort of passing game, along with every other team in League 1.
Bielik barely broke sweat and his sending off was absurd. The Japanese and South Korean midfielder players were absolute boss - no one in this division will be able to match that sort of quality.
A number of their players have played in the Bundeslegia and at a much higher level. A very impressive team performance, given they’ve played so few games together, albeit it’s very early days.
Wrexham’s long ball style is not that dissimilar to ours and illustrates why we need to work on our passing and creativity. Long ball and trying to win possession high up the pitch will not ultimately cut it without some actual craft.
