  • Could anyone please advise whether this match will be available via the stream.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.
I was just assuming it would be Fanny. I recall last season games were all on Charlton TV. Quite looking forward to it as I hope we will see Leaburn, Dixon and a number of others who will be keen to make an impression.

    Thanks, Nadou.

Think that's only been added today.

A shame it's not  mentioned on the " Jones previews Cambridge cup clash"  as some will read it there but not check on the " Matches" link.

    Lineup predictions?

    AMB

    REG
    Jones
    Z. Mitchell

    Watson
    Anderson
    Doherty
    A Campbell
    Edun

    Godden
    Kanu

Maybe Potts and a couple of youngsters off the bench to take us to V1000? Unlikely, I guess as the likes of Mbick have already made debuts.

    Time for Casey? Dixon?

Other than Jones I think the line-up will be pretty much what you have posted.
Jones I think will be rested as we have 3 league games comup in quick succession.
  • I'd assume no Mbick, Casey, Enslin etc. as they're all playing right now for the Under 21's. Hopefully mass changes, people need minutes and no point risking injuries ahead of Blackpool. Might possibly see Leaburn on the bench given he's not involved today, 20 minutes at the end.

    AMB

    Reg
    Z.MItchell
    Potts

    Watson
    Anderson
    Taylor
    A.Campbell
    Edun

    Godden
    Kanu

Bench: Mannion, Assiimwe, Gillesphey, Docherty, Leaburn, Aneke, Dixon

It says something about our squad that you've swapped all 11 starters and still ended up with a League 1 standard team.
  • I reckon we’ll win this cup. Two Wembley visits on the cards this season

Think it’ll be something like this, but wouldn’t be surprised to see Asiimwe start instead of Edun and Watson move to the left. I really don’t think Jones sees Edun as a wing back at all, and tbh these are the kind of games Asuimwe needs to be playing if he’s being kept around

My mate who supports Cambridge says he sometimes goes to these Trophy games to see their young and fringe players in action but they're all currently in the first team - Cambridge have no less than 13 players out injured currently .....Given that and their current league position, we should have a chance of being at least competitive in this esteemed competition.
  • Tickets are no longer on sale online, but can be purchased from the Cledara Abbey Stadium on Tuesday evening, with no price increase.

Are the silly rules about having a certain number of starters from previous games in the 11 still in place?

If so I think only Godden and Anderson might qualify?

Also, where is the CL preview?  Although, has to be said the club aren't exactly going overboard with the preview on the OS.
  • I was told this was the game they were targeting for Miles to make his return. I hope so
