Can see the step up from L2. Mullin (I know it’s only been 15 mins), Lee, O’Connell, Palmer, Cleworth all look out of their depth

Yeah call it clash of the titans or clash of the favourites, or a game fit for Hollywood or something other bullshit.

If 1st placed Man City played 6th placed Brighton tonight, would it be billed as a Top Of The Table Clash?
A lot of the time a "top of the table clash" doesn't mean just the top 2. Usually its about the top 4 or 6......teams that could go top (or 2nd) with a win.

Same for a "relegation 6-pointer". Doesn't mean the bottom 2, but teams in the relegation zone....so bottom 3 or 4.

But you all know that & just being pedantic....and slightly pissed off that these 2 are getting the hype.
  • Go on Ref... Send off a couple of Brum players, so they get a three game ban and miss our match
  • Alfie reportedly on 15.5k a week, I wonder how much Stansfield getting a week?

Did Mullin bite that Brum players leg?

I think it’s a bit unfair to judge anyone in this league when playing against a team that spent over £30,000,000 on transfers.

Expect a lot of teams and players will look out of their depth.

Watching the replay again of the argy bargy a few players were lucky not to get sent off. VAR might have changed a few yellows to reds

Can tell the difference between looking like a L1 player and a L2 player though. Maybe they’ve just had a stinker but if you can’t get up for a game like this as a player then you’re going to struggle

Had his hands round a player's throat earlier in the melee so deserved to be off anyway

would need to be something crazy for them to be suspended for our game as they play 3 before us

Amazed they never hooked Bielik off after that first melee.
It was quite clear his head had gone.

It's been all Birmingham. They should run away with this league.
Their front 2 have 6 goals between them. Wrexham have 2 players with 5 between them.

35 players have scored 2 or more goals across league 1. None of our players have scored more than once.

We are now down to 3rd. The 3 teams directly below us are within 3 points and all have a game in hand.

And I'm not being negative I'm.just stating facts.

Oh......and by the way, Birmingham haven't kept a clean sheet tonight BUT ARE WINNING BECAUSE THEY HAVE SCORED 3 TIMES.

YOU ARE SO NEGATIVE YOU THINK THAT THIS IS POSITIVE.

"13 points after 6 games, yes please, you'll have some of that"

    Exactly

Funny that he also said he wasn't going to keep repeating himself about goals scored.

Birmingham look a top two side. Wrexham top half. Mind you I can see us giving Birmingham a better game at the Valley.

Scoring 3 and conceding 1 is certainly better than scoring 1 & letting in 0.

Simple maths. And the table is based on points & then Goal Difference. Not clean sheets.

Couldn't give a shit if we didnt keep another clean sheet between now & the end of the season as long as we scored 2 more than our opponents.

I also love that all we relied on last season was May scoring and "we need to score more across the team" and now we've scored 6 goals with 6 different players and "no-ones scored more than once"

    Talk about fitting a narrative

Give it up Golfie, we were never going to pay Alfie 15.5k a week, let alone pay 15 million for Stansfield.

Birmingham - the Millwall of the midlands.
3-1 up and they were still intent on being dirty bastards.

I mean the 'narrative' is that we aren't creating and finishing enough chances.

May was good at finishing chances. Pretty simple.

46 goals in a season isn't getting us promoted, sorry.

Simple maths states it's easier to win when you don't concede.

We don't need to score 2 more than our opponents. We need to score 1 more than our opponents.
