Trains Tonight

edited August 2007 in General Charlton
Anyone know what the score is with trains tonight?

I've checked on the National Rail website and there are trains running to get there and back in time.

Do I need to reserve seats or just turn up?

Don't ask me why but I've got the urge to go.

  • So did I til it come up with cheapest fare of £85. Put me off a little!
  • Crate of Stella and teletext it is then!

    Cheers
  • You shouldn't need to reserve seats to Swindon & £85 is wrong unless you're coming from Scotland I imagine.
  • Shouldn't be anywhere near that much to get to Swindon and back. Not from Paddington anyway, I'll be thinking of you lads but I've got potential lodgers coming round tonight.

  • Boring but true - I had to go to Cardiff recently. Booked well in advance and got a return for £27 (peak, both ways). A colleague bowled-up on the day and had to shell out over £100 - it was fun watching them try to get the expenses form signed! :o)
