    My first effort at a chant below. I gift it to you my fellow fans, and to my eternal regret, I will not be present to hear it sung for the forseeable future. Feel free to make any tweaks to assist with its tracking, as i may not have entirely catered for delivery by speakers/singers with a South East London accent.

    It is played to the chorus of YMCA, and it is i am sure you agree - amazing:

    I have seen a lot of posts on Facebook with some great chants that aren’t that common in the UK so that we can claim them as ours.

    ”I believe, that we can win
    I believe that we can win
    I believe that we can win”
    (repeat as infinitum).

    With any song, we bounce up and down, but at the end of each line, everyone moves to the left, then back to the right and so on. Visually intimidating for the opposition.

    To give “the lads” (also known as players) additional encouragement, we should sing the same song at least 6 times a game, and follow it with a round of applause to congratulate ourselves on remembering the words. I suggest “Valley Floyd Road”, but perhaps at a faster pace than we used to sing it. Would a drum help?
