So we’ve come along way,
Ooo ooo,
But we never had Nath,
Never had faith, for a normal life,
But now,
We keep on winning,
We can’t get enough…
Du du du du du du du du du…. Du du du du du du du du du du… du du du du du du du du du

Me ee a and,
Nathan, Nathan Jones,
Nathan Jones Nathan Jones, Nathan Jones
We've got a team,
Going strong....
(We both know that I'm wrong...)
It is played to the chorus of YMCA, and it is i am sure you agree - amazing:
We love you Coach Jones
You don’t like to bring in
incoming loans
On hybrid green grass
Your team is pure class
Addicks score goals for fun fun, yes…
<Repeat>
”I believe, that we can win
I believe that we can win
I believe that we can win”
(repeat as infinitum).
With any song, we bounce up and down, but at the end of each line, everyone moves to the left, then back to the right and so on. Visually intimidating for the opposition.
To give “the lads” (also known as players) additional encouragement, we should sing the same song at least 6 times a game, and follow it with a round of applause to congratulate ourselves on remembering the words. I suggest “Valley Floyd Road”, but perhaps at a faster pace than we used to sing it. Would a drum help?
If you want to win the league
Then you're gotta have Nath
Ooooh you gotta have Nath
Yeah we're gonna need Nath a Nath a Nath...
To be sung at 200mph
Nathan Nathan give us a wave
Nathan… give us a wave.
Where my keeper gone,
where’s my keeper gone
etc
sorry to us of a certain generation who now got this appalling tune stuck in our heads
