Blimey priority sale for a friendly.
My thoughts. It's not as if it's a new ground for us either, unlike when we played Sutton.

Had the same for Millwall last pre-season. Though that one was more understandable.

Maybe they haven't got sufficient staff, so prefer to spread out the sales?

This is smart from from our pink trousered CEO, saves about £16.11 annually in radiator costs at the ticket office, can’t imagine why nobody else has thought of it before.
I wonder what other trade could be squeezed into the ticket office space….

It would be a shame if the ticket office staff have got the boot or made part time to accommodate this.

When buying my AFC Wimbledon & Portsmouth tickets today at 'The Valley' i did ask about this & apparently nobody has lost their jobs under this new arrangement.

It makes perfect sense to me, assuming that there is only an occasional ticket sale and someone is available to serve them in the club shop.
It's a different matter if staffing in the shop is insufficient.
Plenty of lower league teams do this (and we are lower league at present).

It completely makes sense on non matchdays to have everything based in the club shop. A nicer spot, and encourages people to visit the shop.

In all likelihood this will sell out so it raises the question would this be the first time ever we’ve sold out the away allocation for a pre season friendly?

I'm in the Wimbledon hospitality suite for this one. Don't think I'll have a problem with the home fans!
