  • I said it a couple of weeks ago look like Tedic…actually he is worse than Tedic
  • Doesn't offer enough
  • Ipswich keep pulling our pants down for duds

We need to stop signing Ipswich players.

Camara was knackered, Penney useless, Ladapo poor, Fraser we've had to pay to get rid....

    He is rubbish
  • We don’t play a system that gives any help to a front two. They are restricted to either scraps or nothing at all. They have to work hard and hope.
  • I’m praying it picks up for him, or he’ll probably be going out on loan to Cambridge in January…

Ladapo is available on a free...

  • Granted he does not get much service and he works hard. But his first touch is very poor as well as his positioning in front of the goal. Never in the right place. The moment that stood out for me in the first half was where he could play in Campbell but his first touch and passing let him down real bad.
  • Leaburn back in a couple of weeks. Ahadme is on the bench from that point

I'm hopeful Leaburn and Godden will prove a decent partnership.
  • Bring back Josh Parker .. in all seriousness , this guy is crap .

That has the potential to be a really really horrible front pair to play against. Leaburn who's more than just a big man and Goddens experience could be the perfect combo to then throw Chuks on around 65 mins against a weary backline
  • He is rubbish
Said it in the deadline thread, he’s not a hold up player. He’ll lose his place to Godden eventually anyway.

Our front two will end up as Leaburn and Godden or Kanu.  Hopefully Nathan can add a third attacking player in too .
  • If one more "expert" comes on here and tells us he is a good player because he works so hard closing down people and is always putting himself about, I shall scream. Loudly.

So far he looks a complete dud. He is just so slow.

Tell me we didn't really spend the money we got for selling Alfie May on him, did we?
I suspect we spent it on him and Godden, but still....

  • A reminder of what my Cambridge supporting cousin had to say about Ahadme when we signed him:

“Useless to be honest, so good luck!!“

  • No pace

    No great first touch

Ability to hold the ball up and bring people into play? Nope!

Puts himself about.  Great.  He should do.  He's a young, fit, professional footballer!

  • Not writing him off, but so far I'm struggling to see what he offers, and why we bought him for a reasonable fee

Probably but I think Campbell had looked alright there. Was hoping we’d add another forward yesterday.
  • Hes not been what we expected but I'd still like to see him alongside Godden or even Kanu before I make a full judgement.

Tyreece has been good in that role and offers certain things really well (pace etc.) But there are bits missing from his game. His movement, anticipation and linking with another striker just isnt there. Godden is a much more rounded striker offers more positional and isn't all bad in the air. Would take some of the pressure off Gass to be the only out ball and might just get more out of him.

Hope he manages to turn it around as even once Leaburn is back were still gonna need him at times throughout the season.

Not many systems afford the luxury of a partner , although I appreciate ours does .  Him having no ball control or anticipation is unlikely to improve , even if he had peak Mendonca alongside him .
  • Looks very poor.  Surely more to him than we have seen so far.  Leaburn walks back into the team when fit even if we blindfolded him.
  • how many shots have our front 2 had combined this season (note the fact I’m having to ask just how many shots they’ve had as opposed to how many goals they’ve scored)

    Godden 1
    Kanu 1

I actually agree. There are a lot of similarities just Ahadme works harder,

We desperately need Leaburn back in the team and have Godden alongside him.
