I have a very small marketing budget for potentially sponsoring a local football team in SE9. I have no idea how much it costs, is anyone knowledgeable on this?

The budget isn't huge, my initial thoughts were for a Sunday league team playing in Mottingham/New Eltham/Middle Park.cafcdave123 said:

If you're interested in sponsoring a girl's football team (that includes a charlton fan) then I'd be happy to put forward our club. Alas we are in Medway though so probably won't do the trick

Could pop down the STC club (Ivor grove) and speak to them about putting up a ad for clubs interested to contact you?PopIcon said:

boys get their kits first, better equipment etc. it would be good to level the playing field4 -
Sponsoring a kids team will essentially usually be kit costs, equipment etc. Rather than a cost for the 'rights' of sponsoring them.
If you have a lower budget, have you considered match day sponsorship / match ball sponsorship at Charlton? You would be able to negotiate in some decent additional inventory and presence. My business will be sponsoring a few matches this season.0 -
Hi mate, I literally just picked up our kit for my under 7s team I’ll be managing next season.PopIcon said:I have a very small marketing budget for potentially sponsoring a local football team in SE9. I have no idea how much it costs, is anyone knowledgeable on this?
I used pro direct sport for the kit and a company called bandbox logos in st Mary cray for the badge, number and sponsor printing. The whole thing including an initialed tracksuit top came to £650, this is for 8 kids.Hope this helps.0 -

Someone asking for sponsorship on the Kidbrooke community fb page today0

Thanks for the advice and help everyone. Sadly, it can't be a kids team as that's not onbrand.
I'll be sure to check the rest out.0 -

Like I said about the STC , you can let them know what the stipulations are and let them apply for the sponsorshipPopIcon said:Thanks for the advice and help everyone. Sadly, it can't be a kids team as that's not onbrand.
