Former Charlton full back Greg Shields ( who I rated ) has a role at Dunfermline now and of course was an ex player at the club . He may have had some encouraging words to help seal the move ?
My brother is a huge Celtic fan and a fan of Scottish football in general. I asked him about Edwards and he said we got a fantastic player. Great pace and skill with the ball and can create something out of nothing. Excited about this one.
“I really liked what he told me about the club and the direction it’s going in [playing with a false 9 and no recognised striker, if it's good enough for Spain it's good enough for me]".
Know literally nothing about him but to be given a 4 year deal says Jones likes him a lot and can see him developing him into a proper player. Let’s hope we’ve picked up a diamond here.

The length of the contract is the big thing for me. A four-year contract means that the club must be very confident he's good enough to help win the Premier League in 2026-28, but still be a competitive squad player for the 2028-29 Champions League campaign.

Looks like we paid a modest fee, but let’s not forget we’re on the hook for his interpreter too and it all adds up.

What's it to be, we will need one if he is here four years?
