Without checking, are the final accounts due ?. He’s likely made the effort to put in a personal appearance, something he couldn’t be faulted for when he owned the club.
I might be wrong about this (and the continued employment of burger boy is/was a huge problem) but when Sandgaard pitched up we were headed for oblivion under Southall. Sandgaard discovered that Southall was a minority shareholder and did a deal with Nimer the nominal majority shareholder and saved the club. He then raffled off one of the range rovers to a season ticket holder. Football wise Sandgaard was very poor, but who else was ready at the time to save Charlton and find a creative way to get rid of Southall and Nimer? Of course the elephant is the Valley ownership, but at the moment I have settled on Sandgaard saving us from Southall.

Agreed Seth
I have always thought, he really did have Charlton's best interests at heart, but just underestimated the job in hand and his ability to see it through.
would take a thousand Sandgaard's over the other shysters we have had in charge.
Whatever you think of his lack of management skills and his wifes involvement, he unravelled some difficult agreements and got rid of the real shysters.

and I miss the guitar, and that nice music before the game...

He paid shysters about a million & a half pounds, for something that cost them a £1.

Clean sheet wins have been very rare since he left. Perhaps we should start playing the song before games again

Sandagaard just did not have the wealth to afford to fund the losses Charlton make every season and have done for most of 50+ years watching them. Now those losses are amazingly high.

Yes I can see the badge in the background.
He's coming back as a part owner.
Big cash injection to this summer's transfer budget.
You heard it here first.
It gets worse.
