Great stats Lancashire lad. Interesting to see the comparative marks by season.
One correction. In one table you show George Dobson’s average for the season as 6.45, 0.07 above runner-up Alfie May. In another table you show Dobson’s average as 6.43.

thanks and I have made the correction - not that it makes any difference whatsoever, maybe I have been doing this for too long!
For such a poor season, to only have three teams doing a double on us is quite a stat. Two of the top six and a team who finished one spot above us in 15th.
Also mad that Cheltenham were the only club we did the double on, and that took 80+ winners both home and away.
I think I’ll remember this season as the season of draws.
Lowest ever average for a Statbank player of year also says it all.

No, no. Keep doing it. Really interesting to have such a statbank building up year on year.
Interesting that the average team score (6.07) is actually higher than 2 seasons ago (6.01), a season when we got 6 more points and finished 3 places higher.
George Dobson scored lower this year than last. And he holds the record for the lowest-scoring Statbank POTY. Maybe we won't miss him as much as I and nanny others think.
Great work throughout the season @lancashire lad . Hope you’ll be doing the stats again next season 👍🏻
Probably - it depends on whether I can watch the games on TV and whether there will be enough marks to keep it viable which again will depend on CTV and Sky.

You never know....it might be so good that tons of people start going again and there will be enough marks from the live action.
Your stats @lancashire lad are a superb compendium, tracing the success and failure of the club, its player and managers over the course of a decade and a half. It's brilliant, every week and every year to be able to "read" how well and how badly the contributing elements to Charlton Athletic perform. I am sure it will be a fascinating record for years to come, with supporters of Charlton in the future being able to empathise with the current fanbase and to pinpoint the decline, as well as highlighting the point at which the turnaround - if it exists - started to take place.
I would like to thank you for these revealing snapshots; and I hope future Addicks will also offer up thanks to your invaluable anthology of fans' unscientific gutfeel. I hope you're able to continue and you deserve huge congratulations and thanks for the meticulous recording of an important artefact that would otherwise be lost: ie what Charlton fans actually think about the football the team plays.
One comment, however. (And I know it's unimportant). Goals/shots should really be shots/goal. Because, if we scored 9.62 shots per goal and 13.39 shots per game, that would be just over 128 goals per game. And I think we'd have had a pretty good season if that were the case.
Chizz Many thanks for your kind words, I note your remark re goals/shots and will take that on board. For financial reason we rarely watch cafc home or away and rely on "being abroad" on a Saturday to watch matches, if that is taken away then it is doubtful that I will have the inclination to complete the amount of work that it takes to compile the statbank - time will tell.

We are far too nice for this league.
