A definite from me.
Moo2kil is the best right back in the world
Lloyd Sam looked dangerous, always looking to beat his man
Marcus Bent played well (took me 5 mins to write that)
Todorov linked play up well (but needs to improve his workrate)
Reid showed some nice touches, can be a class above (although still needs to up his fitness)
The crowd, better atmosphere than I thought it would be and didnt get on the players back late on.
Negatives
Central defence, very early days but I do fear that Paddy will get caught out for pace a lot.
Organisation/marking shoddy at times, Paddy and Boughy responsible for that.
Still feel with Thomas and Zheng coming back in and Varney and McLeod fighting for a place up front we will score a lot of goals, just not entirely convinced that we'll keep them out the other end.
Will stick with my prediction of 4th. Think things may take a bit of time to gel properly, plus we will have to get used to cloggers like Scunthorpe getting 11 men behind the ball at The Valley, but we'll get there in the end.
Not happy we are playing Palace in early September though :(
