I'm not sure sure that some posters understand Bakinson's role.
It's not about passing ability or silky skills on the ball - his job right now is to use his size and physical strength, get in their faces, tracking and closing down, break up play.
Credit due that he's playing to instructions and doing his job for the team.
Bakinson ‘son of Pratley’ not poetry in motion or easy on the eye but has a physical presence, effective for 60 or 70 minutes to battle in midfield until someone with a bit more finesse enters the fray. Clearly NJ happy to give him the shirt and won’t be surprised to see him start again v Derby a goal will do him the world of good.

Lloyd Jones, Anderson, Kanu are the most improved under Jones and Isted is being picked by Nathan and doing Fine.The whole team have given more in the last 3 games and that is reflected in the players marks.
