What a joke that this is our big signing on the last day to take steps to avoid relegation
We put bids in for Reece James and Alexander-Arnold but unfortunately they didn't want to come.
I don't see the issue, we've signed a young player, who's from London, and if you read reports was touted as potentially being the best RB in league two. He also came through Chelsea's youth system and spent a few years at Southampton, so the talent is clearly there and he isn't your average league 2 clogger.
To be honest this is exactly the kind of signing we should be making, young, hungry, lots of potential. Give me this signing over the likes of Chris Gunter any day.
When my son told me I confused myself with Haringey so this is a step up from what I was expecting
They are very similar places.
Which reminds me; years ago a previous firm I worked for had an office in Harrogate. The people up there were very up themselves and one night after work during dinner they were banging on about their horses, and fishing and other country pursuits. Not my cup of tea at all.
Then one of them pipes up about their love for shooting and everyone else joined in. So I said, "There's a lot of shooting goes on near where I live". "Oh, where's that?".
Great cameo. Loved his little mortimer esque jink into the box only to put in a cross that would have gone further if he'd used his phallis. He then fell over to top it off.
It's the new Charlton signing injury curse. You just KNOW that the previously bulletproof player will get injured soon after they join us, the same happened with Todd Kane a year ago.

Maybe we need to stop signing players called Ka(y)ne. Even Harry would pick up a season ending injury if he played for us.
I was a bit disappointed with him in the end, felt like the team's collective fear of making a mistake has got into him already. He was very, very high up when we had the ball but we aren't capable of finding him with that ball over the top. REG was often looking for him but tended to play it out a little slow. When Ramsay did get the ball at the start he absolutely burned their wingback but then he stopped doing it which felt like a missed opportunity. There's definitely potential there for him to be very good, it's just a shame that he's joined a team full of fear instead of being able to just blitz forward and take risks
He was blowing out of his arse after 15 minutes, and no surprise to me that he went down with cramp after an hour. Needs to get fitter, as his style suits the team we have currently...
Would be too easy for us to sign someone with any fitness
The most frustrating thing is, he has been starting regularly at Harrogate, and in January.
I suppose every player does his hamstring sometimes. But bloody hell...
I liked the look of him too, although Brownie did say that he wants to see more of his defensive work before he gives his verdict. I don't think Brownie rates the defensive work of either Watson or Edun, or come to think of it, any other of our defenders, and it's hard to argue with that.

"Lewisham!"
Welcome to the home of football kayne
We really do get some timely injuries.
Hopefully his injury is not to bad, but I’m not hopeful.
