    • Minimum of four qualifying outfield players in their starting XI. A qualifying outfield player was one who met any of the following requirements:
      • Any player who started the previous or following first-team fixture.
      • Any player who is in the top 10 players at the club who has made the most starting appearances in league and domestic cup competitions this season.
      • Any player with forty or more first-team starting appearances in their career, including International matches.
      • Any player on loan from a Premier League club or any EFL Category One Academy club.
    • A club can play any eligible goalkeeper in the competition.

    If it was free on charlton tv I’d be tempted - if it was played in my back garden I’d probably turn the outside lights on for them and watch them negotiate the bushes, the slope and the very small playing surface - other than that, count me out - shit insult of a competition

    Will be watching online and very much hoping we end the night with 3 points and above Villa in the table.
    Also hoping MA priority is to use the game to give minutes to the guys he prefers as L1 match starters and subs......... and that he plays them in the positions and shape he's planning for the next few games.
    Looking forward to seeing some of our youngsters too.
    I'm feeling much better about the club than I have for ages.

    One of the strongest teams we've put out in this competition. No game for a couple of weeks, chance to try some new things and keep the positive results going. I'm personally looking forward to it.
