Apparently only around 3,500 home fans at their game last night, vastly outnumbered by 6k Grimsby.
Seen a few of their fans arguing over whether to protest at their home league game v Sheff utd. One side arguing that as a live tv game it's a great chance to boycott and gain wider public attention, others are arguing they can't boycott a derby game and if home fans don't go, Chansiri will probably just sell thousands of tickets to United fans.
They're a bit stuck because they've lost their best boycott method of the League Cup. They'll probably settle on all wearing black and gold and then not do anything else. Reading seemed much better at kicking up a fuss, not that it should be required
True but a lot of their fanbase seem pretty happy at them going out, as a big away PL tie in the next round would've potentially given Chansiri upwards of an extra million in revenue.
You possibly go on Owlstalk like I do.
The supporters accept that season ticket holders go to the games after having shelled out the dough(mostly around Christmas when the early bird scheme starts), they have been boycotting all other spending avenues, refreshments etc.
The boycotters for the cup games were very p****** off with the ones that went to Leeds but have been doubly upset for going to the game last night.
I imagine that they will promote a boycott of the Sheffield derby, that would be easy as will be a lunchtime kick-off and normally on the tele. However, I believe they have 17k season ticket holders and I'll be amazed if 7k say no to going.
They're resigned to relegation and are not getting on the back of Pedersen.
Hope they get a points deduction and go down. They should have gone down instead of us in 2020 as they had financial irregularities but from memory they got a points deduction the next season?

I suspect they won't need a points deduction this season to acheive that outcome. They have held up better than I expected but the season will catch up with them and they are second from bottom with one point despite showing some fight.
Laughable to write them off after five games tho. Not looking good at the moment, but their circumstances might change for the better. They could hardly get much worse.
