  • On that point, what does CM expect to need to spend to replace Dobbo and CBT, like for like, in the expected January sales? Surely to buy equivalent and put them under contract will be a fair bit more than we could possibly hope to receive. Would it therfore not be prudent to give them a better deal and tie them down, hence being able to get a fee later. 
    Agree - statement of intent from the owners would be to sign Dobbo up in the next month on a multi year extension …..

    I would expect we will be trying very hard between now and January to tie them down. The problem is they know that if there was Championship interest whilst they were in contract there will be even more interest next summer when they are out of contract. I expect neither to extend their contract until next summer, if at all, and if they do it will be because we ourselves will be in the Championship next season.
