UD UD Las Palmas v Racing Club Santander last weekend La Liga 2.

Done this three years ago, the facilities, or lack of, must be one of the worst I have come across.

Japan national stadium a few weeks ago in Tokyo for Tokyo Verdy Vs Shimizu. Awful game, great crowd

I am guessing that all was well organised with ticketing and matchday facilities for fans.
Apart from the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm I have never been a fan of grounds with an athletics track running around it.
    What about greyhound tracks😂

Halifax Town, Bristol Rovers , Chelsea etc etc.

Oh they are alright, it's a shame they cannot be racing whilst the games were on!
Have been to Cowdenbeath where the banger cars have been entering the ground before they have the meeting in the evening.

A glimpse of what was the highest in altitude football stadium in the world. La Paz stadium named Estadio Hermando Siles is at an altitude of around 3,600mand used by the local football teams. I managed to take a photo as we went by from a cable car on a rainy morning. Our guide then said that this stadium is no longer used by the national team as they have recently built a new stadium named El Alto thats near the airport. El Alto sits at an altitude of 4,150m. The guide then said that the Bolivia national team has won all the 3 matches played since moving there. Absolutely breath taking as I could only just manage a walk up a flight of stairs.

Judging by the state of the gaff it was best you took the picture by cable car!

I'm travelling to Rio next week and am hoping to get to see Flamengo v Bragantino in the Maracana.
As a nice double header there is a basketball league out here and Flamengo are at home the same night at 17.00, the ground is next to the Maracana.

Interestingly, although the shape would suggest it, The Shay was never a dog track (it was speedway). Vicarage Road and old Wembley on the other hand...

It's basic to say the least. And no alcohol in the ground but a brilliant atmosphere outside.
Possible selection for a World Cup venue when Spain host it.

If you are into the groundhopping there are quite a few non-league grounds on the island.
I saw them play Tenerife so it was a derby game, still managed to get a ticket on the day.

Been to a couple of UD v Tenerife games. A local derby  out here and the only time I've seen trouble at a game here.
