    To avoid any tactical predictions, if any of the top three wishes to inbox me their predictions, I will gladly post the predictions on your behalf when the other two are either posted or inboxed to me.
    Tactical predictions? I should feel slightly offended by the implications of this. There was no talk of delayed inbox predictions last year when the the league table was;

    oohaahmortimer … 95
    GoOnYouHaddocks … 94
    56yearsofdreams … 87

    I would like to point out that we run a professional club here at GOYH Athletic, and apart from the floodlight match-fixing scandal in the 90s (which ironically involved Malaysians Eng Hwa Lim and Che Kew Ong) have played within the rules and the spirit of the competition.

    Our integrity was questioned last week by a team owner with obvious delusions of grandeur, but this was assumed to be a tongue-in-cheek joke and dismissed as such. After recent events our team of lawyers are now revising the previous allegation with a fresh pespective and may take the matter further.

    For the record, we shall be playing Saturday morning as we have done almost every week of the season, and as always, without checking other games first.

    Good luck to all involved 🙂.
    There are no implications from me of unfair play, @GoOnYouHaddocks. There is a precedent, as it was allowed in the Prediction Cup. I don’t want any arguments on Monday after it had all taken place whether predictions are intentionally or unintentionally similar.

    ...blimey, wish I'd kept quiet about my 'strategy' now! I just thought that having separate games to each other or predicting different outcomes of the same fixtures would make the final day more interesting to everyone. No doubt GOYH will finish off the season in the style we have become accustomed to - a 7 point lead with one game to go really does look done and dusted. For me, only the perfect 3 (which I've not even got close to all season) and GOYH blowing out completely gives me a chance of the top prize. Did someone say "agueroooooooooooooooooo!!!!"?

    Good luck to my 'targets', GOYH and Charlton Stu! Whatever happens, it's a serious step up from last year's lower league finish. It seems I've turned into Newcastle. I'll take that.
