Would love to see him involved before end of the season - looked a level above in his brief cameo and could be worth a contract in the summer.
His passing ability was brilliant, was out of position as well
    Steady on chaps!

Is this the fella that played less than half a game on his debut then went off injured?

(Or have I got him confused with one of our other magical signings?)
It was only 30 minutes or however long it was, yeah. Even more impressive that he was that memorable. Defensively solid and played some really good/dangerous passes too. 👍

Not saying he’s a world beater but definitely looked like a Championship level player, Hector-esque. 100% an upgrade on Clare in the position.
  • Did he play at Welling last night? What was the verdict from those there?

I know you have a weird agenda about Clare but how on earth you can tell that from 30 minutes against Barnsley. Other than a good cross, Kane looked very shaky that match too! Incredibly fortunate not too concede when he air swiped from a  corner.
  • Was he a permanent signee or just a loanee? If a loanee, he might as well go back to Coventry.

We've had the benefit of him being injured, now send him back while he is fit? Clare, Sess and Egbo all injured (or prone). I'd say keep him till end of season and see if there's anything there worth pursuing next season.
  • He was fine in his 35 minutes, no better than that. Give the lad a chance in the next few if we think there's a place for him, but let's not build him up (or knock him down), or even judge him on 35 minutes.

Loan and he can’t be recalled, that ended when short term loans were stopped years ago.

Believe AMB was an exception as he hadn’t played for Gillingham.
  • On the topic of full backs coming back from injury, what has happened to Egbo?

He played a few weeks ago and has disappeared since. Has he had a set back?

Well, he came into contact with our medical team.
  • Just signed for a team in Gibraltar

Strange. Although I didn't want us to sign him I didn't think he was that bad.

  • Start of last season he was absolutely fine at this level. Post injury he didn't feel the same, but it sounded like he and Holden didn't get on.

He was that bad. Pony player.  Penney made him look a bit better because he was such an unbelievably low bar.
You've based that on what, about 80 minutes in total of football for us?
Yep. 👍. Combined with the fact his next club is a tinpot one in Gibraltar.
  • He never really got the chance to prove himself with us

  • Add to the long list of dross we have signed over the years
  • At least he always gave 110% for the shirt
  • that's a joke right?
  • Bizarre that anyone could dig him out as a bad player for us when he barely played at all. It's unfortunate that injuries stopped him from contributing but it feels like talk about a bad attitude follows him round. We heard it about him when he signed and then it sounds like Holden didn't get on with him either. Probably explains why he's ended up in Gibraltar
