Is it just me or have Ipswich signed Macauley Bonne?

If that guy doesn't work out, I'm sure we'll pay over the odds to bring him to the Valley!!

  • I notice  Bonne scored at his 23rd attempt on the weekend. One more and he will match his 2 yellow cards for the season.

If we are being fair to him it was 22 games (they played Fylde before anyone updated this thread) in total.
But your right 23 games 1 goal 3 assists.

  • I wonder which former Charlton player had a worse time at Southend.  Bonnes scoreless streak or Powells 11 game losing streak as manager
  • Absolutely gifted Sittingbourne their goal today in the last minute to lose 1-0, Southend fans want him gone.

He looks distraught. Shades of Marquis in the play off semi final.
  • The Southend number 20 wasn't very sympathetic. 🤣🤣

He wasn’t distraught. After the goal he got kicked and was faking injury.

860 away fans. Considerably more than they average at home but understandable for their big day and well done to them.

The vast majority of Southend fans seem to hate Bonne . Looks like he still hasn’t found his level. Maybe next season when he drops down even further.

Looked really pissed off with Bonne.

Came of the bench as Southend beat Forest G R on pens to play  Oldham at Wembley in the National League play off final (Oldham beat much fancied York in the other semi)

He scored in the shoot out as well which was surprising to see, as going by his record for them i thought he''d forgotten where the goal was.

Forest Green and the loser of the final look like printing money options for top 7 in the National League pre season bets next year.  All way more money than the average NL team.

he very nearly missed it and was surprised himself it went in (he hit it hard and struck the post, but inside post instead of flush).

He tried his best to be the Bonne we know and (don’t) love.

Another reason we need to be Orient on Sunday. Payback for stiffing us with Bonne  !

Such a strange footballer, one of the weirdest runs and gaits I've seen a player have
