Met him when the advertising agency I worked for sponsored a match when he owned Birmingham with Sullivan. He and him mum sat at our table for the hospitality grub and he was absolutely cracking company. A top bloke as far as I’m concerned.8

I listened to a piece on him on BBC Radio Surrey while driving home tonight, where he seemed to be a bit of a regular guest over the years. They mentioned more than a couple of times, how he done quite a bit of charity work and would open his house and gardens up for charity events0
