Anyone go to Gravesend ?

would be interested to see if Lloyd Sam made an appearance. After his excellant performance at Anfield on the last day last season I was expecting big things of Lloyd and yet he's barely featured in pre-season.

I don't know the team, but they got a hiding - It finished 5-1 according to a Fleet fan on the Conference website.
  • I predicted a thumping when I spoke to my parents earlier. Seems all the first team squad were at Aldershot or injured. Speaking of which we know of the injuries to Varney,Bent,Dickson and Randolph but what's happened to Gibbs again ?
  • just had a browse. yes we got thumped 5-1. according to the ebbsfleet webby our squad was youth and fringe players....tho i doubt a 5-1 hammering is a very good achievement even still!!
  • i went.... shower of shite... couple stood out... small black fella up front took his goal well and looked lively.. josh wright showed class and lived up to expectations but faded as did the team in the 2nd half. arter hassled well but was careless in possession... didn't have a clue who the others were really. best entertainment was when four middle ages charlton got chucked out and one got nicked, no idea why but they were giving it to the ebbs fans on the way out.. who by the way are the biggest bunch of inbreds ive ever come across
  • we were playing a team just 3 leagues below us with a bunch of kids. Read nothing into it, other than our kids might not be as great as we might hope for.
