Happy Christmas everyone. I hope those of you who are unwell or have concerns for the health of loved ones young or old are able to have a little relief for a few days (at the very least), and that the New Year brings us all better times, both personally and in Charlton terms.
Happy Christmas to all Lifers - we have rented a cottage in Dymchurch for Christmas - gate in back garden leads straight onto the beach - our 2 English Springer Spaniels are having the time of their lives
A merry and blessed Christmas to one and all, and here's hoping that the new year for the Addicks is a marked improvement on that which is now drawing to an end.
To all Charlton lifers where ever you are in the world. Charlton is for life not just for Christmas. We come out of the trenches for a 24 hours truce, exchange pleasantries, you doughnuts, before the normal business of trying to stay in the third tier in Thomas Sandgaard's flakey tenure.
There is no escape from the constant underachieving in League 1 even if the freak result in the League cup against Brighton was mainly achieved by the Albion players reading Albie Morgan's book on how to strike the ball at goal under pressure.
We are the Charlton family and that's why we argue and disagree. Oh yes we do, oh no we don't. Apologies, fresh from seeing my daughter in panto in the west country.
That day at old Trafford when 0-0 and 10k sing it can only get better with the great Dane sent off; of course it didn't as we lose 3-1 but it's the thought that counts.
Have a day off and good luck stuffing the bird unless you are Vegan.
Have a contented day and a healthy 2023 as that is paramount in the minefield of life.
I'm trying to have some Christmas spirit and think objectively about stuff.
Don't let the hurt push you towards the wrong pathway. Don't cause more problems in your head and don't get angry.
It's an unusual strange time.
I'm only 33 years old and haven't heard from any family members at all.
I've sent my messages to the appropriate people.
I guess it's all about starting fresh, moving on and moving forward.
Some Christmas drugs would be nice (withdraw from that fantasy dave, put the kettle on, go for a Christmas walk, be a rebel have beans on toast and dont bother doing the washing up)
Wishing all fellow Addicks, and the odd interloper from down the Old Kent Road, a very Merry Christmas. Eat drink and be Merry. Make the most of the time spent with the family and friends. It’s a special time. Peace and Love x

We did that in the summer for years with our best mates when our respective kids were little. Took a place called “Purley Dean” in Greatstone. Backed onto the beach. Great times. Drunken beach cricket with four kids. Funfair at Dymchirch to follow. Marvellous memories.

May you all have a restful Christmas Day before playing that traditional exciting Boxing Day board game of Who's Who in the Directors' Box?!

I'll have to trust myself (and Google) with that one @PragueAddick ...😉
