M-B: 8.5 some great saves and immaculate handling. Inniss: 8 solid and did the basics well Lavelle: 8 best from him for a while Ness: 8 excellent no frills defending. Chin: 8 saw off Enciso but the 2nd half was much more difficult. Did pretty well though tbf Dobson: 10. Like watching vintage Kindella. Stunning performance Fraser: 6 didn’t happen for him tonight Sessegnon: 8 best game for us imo. Dangerous but also some solid defending when needed Payne: 7 worked hard. For me that was some of his best work for us Leaburn: 6.5 had s specific role to do and did it pretty well. No service but his job was to give the centre backs something to think about even though we barely saw the ball R-S: 7 threatened a few times but was marshalled pretty well tbf B-T: 6 didn’t do a huge amount Stockley: 5 rusty F-C: 7 Decent cameo Referee: 8 one of the better ones we’ve had but still missed a few bits and bobs
for me that was absolutely enthralling. Classic rearguard action, Rode our luck and nicked it on penalties. But for me the spirit of that team was fantastic and fair play to Hayes for the selection. Bold but he had a plan and the players did exactly what was asked of them. A night to remember for a wee while
