@PaddyP17 for spotting the error; my solicitors are making a generous settlement offer with your legal team. Suffice to say, it was the bloody Millwall game that screwed things up. Anyway, here's the real news....
Netherlands
and England proved popular choices in Week 17, and, although the correct scores
were harder to predict, they brought a couple of 'safe' points for many. As for
Charlton's loss to Cheltenham, no one saw that coming. It was
@siblers who
shone this week with a handsome 6 points. After that
@meldrew66 and
@paddyp17 (I wonder why he spotted the error) scored a highly
competent 5 points while a bunch of thirteen scored between 3 and 4
points. At the top of the Premier League, it's the tightest
title chase in living memory. While 44 points are enough to be at the top of
the Premier League this season, 55 points were needed for the top spot at the
same stage last season. As a reminder, the highly-prestigious Prediction
Knock-Out Cup begins in January, with the top 128 competitors on Christmas Day
appearing in the draw - that's everyone down to 12th in the National League
South. In the event of a tie, the competitor scoring the most recent higher
score qualifies. Next week's fixtures should bring cheer to some competitors
with a mixture of Championship, League One, World Cup and Guest fixtures, many
kicking off at the traditional time of 3 pm on Saturday.
