  • Burton pressing a lot, quite physical too. Will be shattered second half probably.
  • 7mins in, and we're finally getting the ball on the floor GarnerBall style

Burton playing a heavy press though. so its passing for the sake of it for the most part - As I say that, ball goes forward to Stockley who plays a neat ball for Campbell to chase and win a forward throw
  • NIce little pass from Stockley to Campbell, but unable to get the ball before he is challenged...still 0-0
  • Burton playing a high press, but not a lot happening still 50/50
  • That Burton pitch looks fing awful
  • Stockley done well to drop deep to get the ball wide to the wingers
  • Good to hear a nice rendition of VFR from the travelling faithful...👍
  • Shocking cross/shot by Burton's Powell in a good position
  • Bit of a threatening attack from Burton, leaves Chin a bit isolated.

Shot from left of the box ends up going for a conversion
  • Burton bottom, we'll lose.

  • FK to Burton on the left cleared by Stockley, very scrappy first 15 minutes
  • All Burton, reminding me of the first 80 minutes on Tuesday.
  • Deeply disappointing first 15 minutes
  • Free kick from Burton wasn't dealt with great, bounce a few times across our box but Stockley done enough. They eventually had a shot/ cross. Mc claimed it easy.

We broke forward, attack didn't come to much and Burton broke, bit similarly, came to nothing dangerous.
  • Oh sloppy from Fraser, Burton attack down our right.

Fraser ends up picking up a loose pass who decides to take a tea break, and gets disposed right on the edge of our area - Thankfully nothing came of it, but god it was bad from Scott
  • Burton come down their left now... they get in behind, and the ball is flashed across our box - Sessegnon manages to make a clearance.

    All Burton at the moment

We are gifting Burton far too much room, chances created from our own errors, could have been 1-0 easily from a better team

Burton have been studying Morgan's shooting from the coalville game.

    Thankfully.
  • If Kirk keeps running there he gets a tap in dorm Campbell’s cross. Lack of striker’s instinct.
  • Dobson long ball sees Campbell get in behind.

He then flashes a ball across the goal, Kirk though is enjoying his own tea break and is no where near close to getting the ball - If he'd gambled, and put his cuppa down for a few minutes, we may have tested the Goalkeeper

Rak-Sakyi wins a free kick midway in their half

Kirk takes it, and doesnt clear their man on the edge of the area, ball ends up with Sessegnon who shouts: "Albie, anything you can do, I can do better" and skies his shot well over

Yeah because we played like Brazil 1970 on Tuesday.  Well we did but they are all in their 80s.
  • Stockley poor.  Innis keeps letting the ball drop.  Lavelle is an accident waiting to happen.

    Poor.
  • That sounds like our Charlie!
  • Burton can't press like this for 90 mins. Expect we'll get some breathing space soon

Burton doing a decent job so far and are clearly committed to the cause but they are desperately lacking quality.

Kind of game that I hope we’ll grow into after a bright start from the opposition and we end up with the three points.

Maybe its because he's not striker.

When that happens I expect them to sit back en masse and invite us to break them down
  • Put the cup side out.
