  • HT: Stevenage 1-0 Charlton... Away team booed off
  • Garner - learn your lesson.
Chucks and CBT should always start.
They're our get out of jail card in the last 20..
When we are 3 -0 down.
So you think we should start him and take him off after 20 minutes?

Shame as Chin deserves to be playing in a familiar position in the 1st team. Not bloody LB as we didn't bother investing in a Purrington replacement.
I agree, but we could always play JFC there or even stick in Deji in the back 4 & move one of the others over.
    But not Clare at LB..
  • HT 1-0, now Garner do your work and get some shape into the side second half..
  • Sounds like the most Charlton ever performance against a Steve Evans side.

We’ve got the quality, especially off the bench, but sounds like we can’t match there intensity or organisation.

Chuks, CBT and Sess on at half time or at least within the first 10 minutes, and then we have to hope Stevenage fatigue and drop off a gear.

  • Stevenage can absorb everything we do, only a bit of skill or a killing pass or a 1-2 or blinding pace is going to get us anywhere.
Feel for Richard but he is the wrong player to be last man against this lot…who to be frank are more than decent.
  • Question for those there.

    What formation are we playing?

Or from what I'm hearing on the commentary, is it just a shambolic mess?
  • 68% of the ball, no shots on target so far for the Addicks

How's Stockley doing? A top League One centre forward should be terrorising a League Two defence!
Moaning at his teammates while doing absolutely fuck all himself as per usual

For one game, and then we bemoan Chuks' next injury
Some people don't get it. Chuks will never start a game because he will break down and he changes the game better than anyone when he comes on.
Trouble is he probably will start a couple of games, and then will break down - The correction to your comment, is he should never start a game because of the risk... Its frustrating but would rather have him play 30mins in every game, than 60mins in one game
    Exactly !
  • Sounds a positive shit show so far.

Not sure we can take any more of this Chin music that Stevenage are throwing our way
  • It's the cunning plan....lull them into a false sense of security them roll them over second half...🤔😉
  • Sess, CBT and Chuks on at HT please.

Yep, just like Sam Vokes did last round.
  • OK!  Which one of you fuckers hit "Shit mode"?
  • Bring Chuks on at half time and that way he might play less minutes than if he comes on the 70th and it goes to extra time.

About as well as the "best midfielder in the league" by the sounds of it.
  • Christ... win two cup games in a week... and everyone forgets how we usually do in them ;)
  • Diabolical half. Lucky to only be 1-0 down, we've looked so vulnerable at the back, while also being slow and predictable in attack.

There wont be Extra-Time, game should go straight to penalties
  • Our possession stat is a nonsense as it's all passing around the back, going nowhere.

Yeah but if we pass it more than 5 yards foward people will say the are sick of hoofball 🤷‍♂️

Ben must be worried about the minutes left in the subs he wants to bring on, reckon we’ll see changes about 60 - 65 minutes.
