Leaburn has a bit of a tussle midway in their half but the ref gives a free kick against him.

Ripping them a new one now - down to 10 men - put loads of effort in to keep the oppo back - final 10 - knackered - it was always thus - but @golfaddick is the font of all knowledge, because they might get a goal - I know I should ignore him, but just pisses me off - we have the makings of a really good side here, but nah, always seeking a negative

Say what you like about Golfie, but he's entitled to his opinion, he's always true to himself and he's always good natured in the face of people being negative about his negativity. Don't ever change, Golfie.

    They just need to gel
  • Not overly surprised by that... We've slowly looked like we'd give a team a pasting, but didnt expect it to happen this early.

Agreed, much prefer him to people who seem to think everything is fucked when we lose away to Sheff Wed after playing them tight the whole time. Also, genuinely enjoy his posts on other subjects. His Eeyore routine is part of the tapestry of Charlton Life.

Tel referencing a "difficult day" for the Comms Team.

Good reminder to message the Charlton TV WhatsApp about Olly.

And @KillersBeard ends with: "In what's been a difficult day for the Comms Team, the squad has stepped up and made it that little bit better"

Anyone want to moan at that performance...apart from the usual suspects?
  • Sad that’s finished.

We played against 10 men for most of the game. Great result but let's see against Cambridge on Sat.
