Not enough is the correct answer.
After 6 games we will be well of the pace and the meltdown on here will be special.
  • Options
    Accrington (A) Draw
    Derby (H) Win
    Sheffield Wednesday (A) Defeat
    Plymouth (H) Draw
    Cambridge (H) Win
    Wycombe (A) Draw

    11 points, a decent start

    19-21.
Its the start of the season, we have a new manager, loads of new players added to our squad from last season, minus a few of the dead wood from last season and we are a big club that is on the way up.
    Lets have some optimism.

I'll go for 10 points, which will equal the amount of points we took from these same teams (excluding derby obviously) all last season.

10 will do but like a progressive 10.

    An over-optimistic 9.

Some optimism, yes, but more than three points for a win is pushing it a bit

Seems we're going in to the season with broadly low expectations then!

12pts would be lovely but who knows that this season has in store. Far too many unknowns.
  • Options
    Accrington (A) Draw 0-0
    Derby (H) Lose 1-0
    Sheffield Wednesday (A) Lose 2-0
    Plymouth (H) Draw 1-1
    Cambridge (H) Win 1-0
    Wycombe (A) Lose 3-0

Five points, we urgently need some forwards

Having studied the fixture list in depth and taking in account teams that have strengthened, I can’t see us losing a game.

16 points. Not sure who we drop the two points to though.

Who will score our goals? I hope i'm wrong, but beyond the odd set piece and long shot, i cannot see our current strike force getting goals.

That’s a lot of time added on Callum

8 points. A sound start on which to build.

    8. I have low expectations but in part that's because I'm used to having them confirmed

If we go into the season with only one fit striker…… not many points

10 points. I think we'll struggle to get a point at Wycombe and Wednesday, a draw with Derby.
  • Options

    Accrington (A) win
    Derby (H) Win
    Sheffield Wednesday  Defeat
    Plymouth (H) win
    Cambridge (H) Win
    Wycombe (A) Draw

Two wins or more would be nice.

With the current squad then 2pts.

    Accrington 1-8 Charlton

    Inniss 1'
    Gilbey 7', 27', 84', 90+13'
    Rak-Sakyi 16', 53'
    Wollacott 45+8'
    Did we come from behind?

I fancy us to hit the ground running W,W,D,D,W,W 14 points and a ridiculous plus goal difference with plenty of different players scoring.

18 - HMS piss the league is back on and we don't sign anyone else.

....then we get half a dozen of the usual suspects injured and fall away ;)
