    that was my first home game at the Valley that memorable season .. first was away for the close loss at M'Boro .. I knew we were in for a terrific season, we'd signed Mendonca who I already knew was a terrific, consistent goal scorer and all the players looked well up for it under the genius management of Lord Llewellyn .. Eddie Youds played for Bradford that day .. Peter Beagrie was sent off for a ridiculous slap on John Robinson .. Kris Kamara was the Brad manager .. big win, great performance capped by Brownies wonder strike ((:>)
