Folks, you know they have time trials in the Tour de France and the like? I am thinking it might be good to introduce the occasional variation on here. Like the next time we get to Z, the following alphabet of live performances should only be female artists, or not in English, or solo performances or something. Any thoughts?
Good idea, not so sure on the not in English thing, but females or solo would be interesting..

I had to hijack the thread a couple of days ago (J to O) in order to post a wonderful version of a Faroese folk ballad by folk metal masters Týr and not one was in English: Finnish (twice), Swedish, German, and then Icelandic before I could get to Faroese.
We are getting a few repeats now. 'Time trial" kicks in at the next 'A".
Easily done given how many laps we've done so far.
What we really need is some to trawl through the 31 pages of the thread and log every song for each letter, along with the artist, so that we've got something to check against.
