No rail strike yet... just the current shambolic Avanti service (with none of the normal cheap advance tickets you normally get)1
-
What time should I expect the coach to pick me up in Bradford 😉ForeverAddickted said:
No they just wont know how to organise any travel, so anyone getting tickets should be prepared to find their own way thereCallumcafc said:
Surely they're not THAT stupid to refuse tickets?Airman Brown said:
Club has discretion to take less though. Nobody down there will have any idea of what we’ll want. They also have no experience at all of running a big away travel operation.Callumcafc said:
League Cup rules state that the home team must give at least 10% of capacity to the away support.J BLOCK said:How much will they give us do we know?
So 7400 tickets available minimum.
I Will probably be first pick up, then Rochdale, then Dover.2 -

Definitely! I took my son out of school for two days for our last big quarter final against Hartlepool last year and his education hasn’t suffered for it.aliwibble said:
Take him anyway. Tell the school it's educational. you're going on a pilgrimage.AFKABartram said:Gutted, son was desperate for a home tie as midweek
Just tell the school he’s got the dentist. Or a bad back.
I'll be taking my two out of work!

I thought the trains were fucked that day? Either that or the first train from London didn't arrive before the kick off.bobmunro said:TomNight said:000__Jaaaaay__000 said:Do we reckon people that want a ticket will get one? Dean Holden takes over, and finds himself within a few weeks leading a team out at Old Trafford. Assuming he isn't sacked before then!6

If you said before the season started that we'd be playing Man U away in January, I'd be ecstatic, but also thinking we must've done alright in the first couple of rounds of the FA Cup. Not a League Cup quarter-final..!11

Have to sing this on the revisit! What a great tie.Valley11 said:Shame not at home but memories of Things Can Only Get Better and Schmichael sent off1 -
Mental that Ronaldo has shat it from the mighty Charlton by the way.13

Not sure there’s anyone at the club who could arrange it but I remember the Operation Ewood trip - all arranged coaches to Gatwick, flight up then coach to the ground…was all well planned…except the result…3

Great tie for all the fans that can and want to go. I think they’ll be enough tickets for everyone2
-
honestly think I need to take a break from this place for a bit, we just got the basically plumb draw and all anyone wants to talk about is negative. Everyone always moans during these cup draws that we don't get the "big one" we just fucking got it - on a plate. Think some of you lot needs to give your heads a wobble if you can't see the draw of Man U away.24

I drove from Edinburgh to Sheffield, leaving about 6.00am (been to the rugby at Murrayfield the day before).

Have a word with the new COO can’t you Rick? Someone down there must be able to give you an introduction.Airman Brown said:

I would think we will get a lot of tickets and we'll sell a lot of tickets.
I expect everyone who wants one and makes reasonable effort to get one will get one and we will take 7k+4 -

Back in 74 the only way to get up to Manchester was make your own way up there.ForeverAddickted said:Bet the club will be stupid and wont run a Valley Away service...
Even if they do it'll probably be one or two coaches, especially if there is to be a Rail Strike!!
Lewis Coaches said no coach travel due to too much trouble up in Manchester.
As I recall 9 of us back of Bedford van went up together . Cost of ticket seats 1 pound 10 pence .

There's a lot of mentally scarred people on here mate when it comes to Charlton, which is not entirely surprising.Manic_mania said:honestly think I need to take a break from this place for a bit, we just got the basically plumb draw and all anyone wants to talk about is negative. But I agree. Not more than five mins after the draw and we've got people just trying to piss on the bonfire. Have an evening off.5 -
Big difference this is midweek. Two days leave unless you drive or coach. Prob on tv. Just after Xmas, during a cost of living crisis.TomNight said:000__Jaaaaay__000 said:Do we reckon people that want a ticket will get one?
