How many professional appearances, goals and assists has Jesurun Rak-Sakyi got?
Will he be playing up front on his own?
Will Dane Scarlett be every week then ?
Will Leaburn who a fair few people want to see playing?
Did Gallagher have amazing professional stats before his loan to us?
Why's Scarlett's complete lack of "professional" stats make him a laughable signing yet Rak-Sakyi's not?
Etc etc etc
Laughable. That's a complete fabrication and I clearly did not say that.
to remind you of what I said, in response to what in my view was a complete exaggeration of a post slating our owner and scouting system for not signing this guy...... I pointed out that he has scored 0 goals in pro football, I also pointed out that his England youth stats are very good
in response to the original post, who questioned our scouting system that charlton playing one up top would unlikely want him
would spurs want him to come to use to be behind stockley and aneke?
the palace guy would be less of a risk playing on the right of a three than leading the line
I know you didn't say that, I am, given the tone of other posts. It's not a rant directed at you or anyone.
I'm just curious as to why Scarlett who has only scored against children isn't worth pissing pants over, yet Rak-Sakyi with good stats against children and not men should have me getting through the cleenex 🤷🏻♂️
I just love to deep dive into the CL logic.
I would imagine, as always, there's different people getting excited about Rak-Sakyi and not getting excited about Scarlett. I'm excited about the prospect of getting Rak-Sakyi, it looks like he has the right attributes for our style. I would also be very happy with Scarlett. I think the good thing about untested young players is that if you do get one in then it's potential for a good player, if you don't then it's not the end of the world because they're always a gamble. Gallagher was a gamble, and that worked out very well. Levitt was a gamble too with no previous loan experience and he just wasn't ready. Same with Jay Dasilva, Mavididi and Maatsen, with varying results. Scarlett has proven he can score at u18 level but not at senior level and that's going to go one of two ways for Pompey, that gamble isn't going to take place at Charlton so it's not really worth putting too much thought into. It looks like it might happen with Rak-Sakyi and if it does then we can get excited about the potential for a success.

Literally nobody come close to suggesting it was laughable. Nor their tone.
Comments were made in relation to one poster saying he's a 'game changer', when he's yet to play a handful of senior games at men's football. Same applies to the Palace kid.
Loathe to raise the Dobson scenario but would he be modelling the new 3rd kit if he was on his way out of the door?
Has anyone actually ever said he is. Some people have just got outraged by the fact he now has to fight for his place which I always thought was a good thing in a football team.

Just because x and y might not start at Accrington doesn't mean they are on the way out. Including MacGillivray.
Are we so used to having only 14-15 useful players that we think 16-20 are frozen out or being jogged on?
As always if the club receive an offer for anyone, including those that do start the season, that meets the valuation of the player, and the player is happy to move, they will move. If not they won't.

Would he also be given the number 4 shirt?
Could have been given the No4, if they wanted to keep it open for a replacement, easy to give, even easier to take away!!...not that i think he is going anywhere myself, just saying...

Isn't that Palace lad back from Australia yet?

Looks like he is coming to us: Here he is in our new kit.
The suspense doing my prostate no favours.
Come on Charlton get it done - please!
