In fairness, I suspect that our wing-backs were instructed to play a very conservative game, given the opposition and, more fundamentally, the need to avoid yet another defeat Fraser: 6 - a few nice touches and good to get 60 minutes or so into him. We are desperately in need of some creativity in the final third and hopefully he can provide it Lee: 6.5 - flitted out of the game for periods, but produced some good moments of attacking play. What did we do? Nothing. We need strong and intelligent midfielders, like Barry Bannan and Alex Pritchard. The fault lies with Sandgaard. He won't spend money - the academy is cheap. So we end up with Albie Morgan - and duds released from Tranmere, and crocks like Leko on loan.

Jackson: Much better set up with mostly (apart from Gunter) players playing in the correct positions. It really helped him having Stockley up front. I hope we are not going to play long balls up to Stockley from now to the end of the season though! The return of Washington is key. Once he is back and playing alongside Stockley I think our results will pick up.
