If we are signing up these 18s, then how will the club cope with the under 16s who apparently are a more golden crop of players? There will be so many contracted players at the club that these 18s have to be playing in 2 seasons time. A nice problem, but you need experienced players too.

As you say, a nice problem to have although in reality some of the U16's will be picked off.
Some of the U18's may just last as long as Burstow did.
Some will be slower to come through and no doubt head to non league loans.
I imagine quite a few of the U23s will be released in the summer (likes of Clayden, Dempsey etc) who have not seemingly pushed on).

Perhaps we can become Charltonski and run a loan farm.

I don’t think that’s an issue. They won’t all get pro deals and best may be poached by bigger clubs.
We currently have a large u23 squad topped up by non-league prospects and players released by other clubs. We won’t need to bulk out the squad with so many external signings if enough u18s are worth offering contracts to. Some u23s will be loaned out, a few should progress to the first team.

I don't think he will be rushed into the first team. He has only just stepped up to the U-23s. Maybe at the very end of the season but I suspect he will get his chance in pre-season.

Plus the ex players that people on here want us to re-sign.
Not sure if people know this but he is a fan, and I quote an immaculate source here, “
” Hopefully, plays for Charlton as he is a Chartlton lad through and through”
You'd have thought this would have been mentioned in the article if he was a supporter like Lapslie, Rob Elliot etc. But either way he seems like a lad with a lot of affection for the club having been with us for so long. Delighted he's signed.

Assuming that most of the U18 kids are being offered 2 year deals, then some will probably be gone or sold before the U16s even arrive on the scene.
Kanu and Adigun for example if they're as good as everyone says, probably won't still be here by 2024. Adigun definitely already has interest from bigger clubs.
He looks absolutely immense. As do a few others in this quality young side. I wonder what Sandgaard's long-term plan is for these stars? Would a Kanu playing week in week out for Charlton in the Championship be encouraged to stay at all costs with promotion to Premiership with his local club a possibility (we can hope!) or would £5-10million from a Liverpool or Chelsea that he may never play for turn Saandgard's head. Perhaps if Mason Burstow fails to progress in the next year or two (wherever he is loaned out to) it might just encourage these brilliant young players to stick around. But Kanu looks absolutely destined for the too. 31 goals already this season!
Scoring goals in youth football doesn't always transfer to men's football in all cases. Daniel Kanu has a decent chance but personally if he has a quiet start when given an opportunity in the 1st team probably next season it won't be such a bad thing as not sure the Mason Burstow elevation to the European Champs after scoring against League 1 opponents is really good for Cafc despite 1.6 million for the raw youngster.
Good for Mason going from the lowest paid to the highest paid player in the team until the end of the season but the dynamics with the Cafc crowd seemed different when he came on as sub. Sounded like more of a groan from some than booing but the love after he walked around the pitch against Fleetwood had disappeared down the Thames heading west.
The under 17’s had a cup game on Saturday morning perhaps he played in that as he is only 17 , they won by the way and in the semi final now , that’s more important than playing with a load of shit first team players
The other thing is i guess, if we are really that rubbish at the moment, why scar the poor lad with it at an early age , he's got plenty of time for all that!
Got bullied a bit early doors today but came through it and won the penalty and brilliant goal. Think he will go on to do good stuff at Championship level as long as we don't ruin him

Adigun, Leaburn, Reilly, Ladapo, Kedwell, Laquertabua???
Any others currently unsigned?
There’s a squad list here but it must be out of date, players such as Adigun are missing. More useful are the goal scorers and appearances lists http://youthhawk.co.uk/w/index.php/Charlton_Athletic_Under-18s#section_2

He was definitely there today, as both Kanu and Castillo were on the pitch at HT
