A powerful runner and he definitely has goals in him Lee: 6.5 - a better second half, although his set plays were below par and he really should have played Gilbey in on one of the occasions that we sprung Rotherham in the second half Purrington: 7 - pretty solid and nearly had a headed assist near the end of the first half Stockley: 6.5 - generally well shackled by Richard Wood and his two fellow central defenders, although he stuck at it. His defensive contribution is always good, performing the sort of job in his own box that Carl Leaburn used to do for us back in the day Washington: 7 - as ever, good movement and graft. His goal was a huge relief all round after missing the earlier chances. As his career record shows, he is not a clinical finisher. Referee: 2 - absolutely hopeless. I cannot remember being more exasperated at a ref's performance, aided and abetted by the inept East Stand linesman
