Colchester United boss Geraint Williams will take a look at former Charlton striker Kevin Lisbie in Saturday's friendly at Heybridge Swifts.
Lisbie, 28, was released by Charlton at the end of last season after coming through the youth ranks at the Valley.
The Hackney-born Jamaican international scored 19 goals in 176 games for the Addicks, his only permanent club.
Lisbie has also enjoyed loan spells with Gillingham, Reading, Queens Park Rangers, Norwich and Derby County.

If he'd scored that lot in one season, he would have been a legend........ ;-)
