I'm going tomorrow, shame this match wasn't a day later!
At least you'll get better weather. Even if you have tickets for Centre or No 1, it'll still nice to see play on the outside courts as well
I love wandering around the outside courts and just seeing what you can see and enjoying the atmosphere. If the weathers nice and you’ve got a cheeky day off of work it’s such a wonderful place to be.
Been Wimbledon 3 times and my favourite part is just walking around from game to game and taking it all in.
Loved it as a kid getting all the players autographs after the games at the small courts, and playing all the mini games in the Robinsons centre or whatever it was called.
One player who I asked for his autograph when I was 12, I couldn't remember his name and he had the right hump and asked why I wanted his autograph if I don't care to learn his name 😂

Tomorrow is perfect weather - warm, rather than hot - for watching on the outside courts, as unlike Centre and No 1, they have no cover. A few years ago I had tickets for No 3 court, which was roasting hot in the sun.

Used to do that with autographs. I got John McEnroe's just before he broke though and I recall he was playing mixed doubles with Mary Carillo that year - must have been about 1976 or 1977. He was surprisingly approaching (then). Billy Jean King less so, but did sign
I have applied through the ballot most years since and been about 16 to 18 or maybe even a few more times and to about 5 or 6 finals- I'm ashamed to admit that I can't remember them all individually but can remember a few including Andy Murray's first win - although we must have been in the 2 seats the furthest from the court - but didn't mind!
I had so many amazing autographs plus pages of Charlton players from about 1976 until about 1982. It was falling apart and I was very upset when my parents checked it out with a load of stuff I'd left at the family home when they moved back to Scotland - when I was old enough to have moved out of home but still young enough not to think about what I wanted to salvage (unfortunately)

Amazing.
Same as you wondering where all my stuff went! It is criminal how much stuff my Mum or Aunt have thrown out.
I had this really cool metallic flip book with what must have been 10s to hundreds of players competing at Wimbledon and it got thrown out by someone.
And my family wonder why I keep so much stuff now and refer to me as a hoarder when it was them who cause the emotional damage 😂

I'm gutted I don't still have the programmes from my first football matches.

I used to have loads of old Charlton programmes from the late 40s and the 50s that my uncle gave me. And then all the ones I kept after my first game in 1962. All of them long since either chucked out or passed on to me cousin back in the 80s. I did get the programme from my first game on Ebay a few years back

Always find it weird when one person pronunces a name differently to everyone else.
Including the person whose name it is.
Does McEnroe hear Djokovic and think "No, he's getting his own name wrong, it should be Jokervic"?
He does it with most of the names on tour because he's American so knows better than everyone else
wonder how much licence payers cash is being wasted on McEnrow this year ? .. it's usually around £200K for the fortnight, when he's not busy pontificating for the US networks that is

Novak is playing terribly.

His coaches look like a right bunch of miseries. Probably not helped by them having to wear matching outfits.

Becker used to pronounce Venus as Weenus which always made me crack up.
